Lodge Rules: Making Your Visit the Best Experience for All!
We're thrilled to welcome you to the Wylderness Lodge - a shopping experience dedicated to our beloved dogs.
As a dog-friendly store, we want to ensure every visitor whether two-legged or four-legged has a safe and enjoyable experience. Please take a moment to read our house rules so we can all make the most of your visit!
🐾 For Our Four-Legged Guests (Dogs):
- Stay Close: Whilst in store All dogs must be supervised and kept on a short (fixed-length) lead at all times. Retractable leads are not permitted for safety reasons.
- Clean-Up Ready: Accidents happen sometimes, we kindly ask that you clean up after your dog and let our staff know. If you need supplies or assistance, we’re happy to help.
- Give Space: Ask for permission before approaching other dogs or allowing yours to do the same.
- Nervous Dogs Welcome: If your dog is anxious, let us know! We’ll do our best to create a calm and comfortable environment for them. If they need a private shopping experience, we can arrange this with you.
- Safety First: Aggressive dogs may be asked to leave if necessary to ensure everyone’s safety.
- Wellness Matters: If your dog isn’t feeling well or if females are in heat, we kindly ask that they stay home until they’re ready to enjoy a safe and happy visit.
- Mind the Displays: Please don’t allow your dog to jump on any displays or fixtures for the safety of all.
👶 For Our Little Guests (Children):
- Supervision Required: All children under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Respect and Safety: Always ask before approaching or touching a dog to create a safe and respectful experience for all customers.
- Behaviour: Running, playing, or roughhousing in the shop is not permitted to ensure everyone's safety. Nervous dogs may be startled by loud shouting.
- Respect the Space: No climbing, sitting, or leaning on displays to avoid accidents and injuries to all customers.
- Keep Walkways Clear: Prams and strollers must not block walkways or fire exits.
✨ Safety & Accessibility:
- Snacks & Drinks: Please keep food and drinks out of reach of curious dogs.
- Watch Your Step: Wet floor signs will be displayed when needed. Please take care.
- Smoke-free zone: Our store is a no-smoking facility to ensure a clean and healthy environment for all our visitors.
- Accessible for All: Our space is wheelchair accessible with step-free entry. If you need assistance, our friendly team is here to help!
🚨 In Case of Emergencies:
In the rare event of an emergency, please follow our staff’s guidance and use the marked fire exits.
